The formal investiture of Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Leslie D. King has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on April 13 at the Gartin Justice Building in Jackson.

Gov. Haley Barbour will speak along with Rep. Percy W. Watson, D-Hattiesburg. Chief Justice Bill Waller Jr. will administer the oath of office.

Barbour appointed King to the vacancy created by the departure of Justice James E. Graves Jr. Graves was appointed to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
