Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church for Eva Anne Vara, 57, of Picayune who passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the White Chapel Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Arthur Lee will officiate at the service.

A native of Virginia, she was a Baby-sitter and a member of Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Emory Carroll and Nelda Bounds Carroll; and her husband, Jerry C. Vara.

Survivors include: her daughter, Michelle McBride of Poplarville; her son, Corey E. Jarrell of Carriere; seven grandchildren: Albert McBride, Brandon McBride, Pacey McBride, Sam McBride, Megan Jarrell, Morgan Jarrell and Shelby Jarrell.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 6 p.m.. until 8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
