Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Union Baptist Church for Roger Bailey Goss, 94, of Picayune who passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 in Picayune.

Burial will be in Caesar Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Kevin Neary will officiate at the service.

A native of Kiln, he was a Farmer, a Carpenter and a member of Union Baptist Church. He also honorably served his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, F.Z. Goss and Winnie Quarles Goss; his wife, Edith Verlean Goss; three brothers, Forrest Z. Goss, Judson Goss and Karl Goss; and one granddaughter, Shannon Gibson.

Survivors include: one son, Donald Goss and his wife Glenda, of Picayune; one stepson, Gary Wayne Gipson and his wife Karen of Picayune; one brother, George Goss of Picayune; his grandchildren, Chad Goss (Lisa), Karen Cooper (Kelly), Kevin Goss (Christy), Gretchen Watson (Lee) and Brett Gibson (Jenny); and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Monday, March 21, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
