Renalder “RV” Stiglet, Jr.

Renalder “RV” Stiglet, Jr., US Marine Corps veteran and a resident of Picayune, met his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the age of 75.

Son of the late Renalder V. Stiglet, Sr. and Wedia Mae (Cuevas) Stiglet, he was born on January 11, 1936 in Hancock County, Miss.

He is survived by his loving wife Marti and leaves behind many loving and devoted children and grandchildren. RV leaves behind his loving aunt, Bernice (Cuevas) Thompson of Carriere, as well as brothers and sisters, Ringer Stiglet of Picayune, Shelby Cuevas of Jackson, Miss., Leon Stiglet of Laurel, Miss., and Gloria Ladnier of Opelousas, La. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

RV had great faith in his Lord and was an inspiration to everyone he met. He celebrated a love for life by singing gospel music at various churches throughout the community. He also had a love for riding horses and taught many of his younger family members the joy of riding.

He was greatly loved by family and friends who will miss him very much.

The memorial services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the New Life Baptist Church, 6019 Rd. 312, Kiln, Miss. at 4 p.m., with visitation 2 hours prior. Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, Miss., assisted the family with arrangements.
