Memorial services will be held at a later date for Penny Laine Drennan, 38, of Carriere, who passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Carriere.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Long Beach, Miss., she worked for AMR Ambulance Service and was a member of Orange Grove Baptist Church in Gulfport, Miss. Penny loved all kinds of animals and she enjoyed spending her time on Facebook with her many friends playing Farmville. Penny was loved by many and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Idell Drennan and Margie Elizabeth Strain.

Survivors include: her parents, John L. Drennan and Elaine Strain Drennan of Carriere; her sisters, Tanya D. Raverty and husband Leo of Picayune and Amy M. Ladner of Carriere; her two nephews who she loved very much, John C. Raverty; George E. Drennan; and her grandfather, L.D. Drennan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
