Christopher “Chris” Edward Childs, 28, of Poplarville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at his home in Poplarville.

He was born in Hattiesburg, Miss. on October 21, 1982 to Vernon and Linda Cooper Childs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Childs.

Chris is survived by: his mother, Linda Childs of Poplarville; maternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Johnson of Poplarville; one sister, Spring Childs of Poplarville; one aunt, Connie Tucker of Picayune; and a host of extended family.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
