Lucille Cittadino

Lucille Cittadino, 85, of Picayune passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Covenant Health and Rehab.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 4, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with a rosary at 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m., with Father Michael Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Carriere Cemetery.

Mrs. Cittadino was a lifetime resident of Picayune and a school bus driver with the Orleans Parish School Board. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Women’s Auxiliary at the church and the Hide-A-Way Lake Senior Club.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Cleveland Richmond Smith and Louisa Cordelia Smith; and her husband, Sam R. “Toby” Cittadino, Jr.

She is survived by: her children, Jim (Mary Alice) Cittadino of St. Louis, Mo., Raymond (Theresa) Cittadino of Metairie, La., Ronald (Nena) Cittadino, Sr. of Slidell, La., Nancy (Dennis) Beismeier of Minneapolis, Minn., Janice C. (John) Lovekamp of Jackson, Mo., Deborah L. (Nathaniel, Sr.) Kahl of Slidell, and Sam R. Cittadino, III of Picayune; 58 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
