Whitney Miller has been a very busy Pastry Princess since bringing the win for the First Season or Fox Television’s “MasterChef” to Poplarville.

She has since appeared at MSU games, charity events, judged cake contests, been a guest speaker at several local churches,  visited hopeful contestants at the New Orleans “MasterChef Season 2” tryouts and practically finished her cookbook, which she hopes to have to her loyal fans by mid-year.

Now there is a new way to experience all things Miller.

“Starting January 12, fans of Miller’s can sign up to follow her as a curator on OpenSky — the hot new shopping site that connects its members to influential experts in Food, Style, Beauty and Home for insider access to her favorite products at exclusive prices.” says the Press Department from OpenSky.

“Partnering with OpenSky gives me the opportunity to give something back to the fans who support me,” says Miller. “If there’s a kitchen tool or a food that I know they’ll love, OpenSky helps me get it for them at the best possible price.”

OpenSky’s release states, “Curators are invited to join OpenSky by the company’s Editorial Board but must be approved by the site’s members before they can officially start. Miller’s skills in the kitchen and popularity helped her achieve instant approval by the OpenSky community. Fans can sign up directly to follow her via her customized OpenSky page http://promo.shopopensky.com/follow/whitney/.”

Miller has loved the opportunities to share with others and “connect with people from all over the world” since appearing on MasterChef.

Miller says, “I went to New Orleans for the “MasterChef Season 2” tryouts and it was great! Sometimes someone that has tried out will contact me and ask me what it was like or how long until I found out that I had made it to the next level of the competition. It’s neat, because I am hearing from people all over the world and forming a bond with them because of MasterChef!”

She continues, “I am excited about OpenSky. I think it is a great opportunity to recommend my favorite cooking items I use to cook in my own kitchen. It is a great way to share my knowledge and techniques.”
