Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Union Baptist Church for Mary D. Giveans, 84, of Picayune who passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 in Gulfport, Miss.

Burial will be in the Log Town Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. G.A. McCoy will officiate at the service.

A native of Slidell, La., she was a Secretary and a Homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Leob.

Survivors include: her husband, Isadore Giveans of Picayune; and two nephews, Douglas Leob of Wiggins, Miss., and Billy Leob of Austin, Texas.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
