Memorial services will be held at a later date in New York state for Doris Doyle, 82, of Picayune, who passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Picayune. Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. She was born in Hapeville, Ga. on November 28, 1928.

She was preceded in death by: her father, John Mitchell; her mother, Hattie Mae Mitchell; and son, James Doyle.

Survivors include: her husband, Paul Doyle of Picayune; two sons, Bryan Doyle of Houston, Texas and David Doyle of Picayune; three daughters, Sharon Randall of Sherburne, N.Y., Janet Lum of Jonesville, Mich., and Mary Jane Roche of Picayune; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in North Norwich, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Leetown Volunteer Fire Department, 24440 Rester Rd., Picayune, MS 39466.
