Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday in Holly Springs for Northern District Transportation Commissioner Bill Minor. The 68-year-old Minor died Monday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. at the Eddie Lee Smith building in Holly Springs.

Minor had been a MDOT commissioner since 2003. A special election will be in early 2011 to fill Minor’s post on the Mississippi Transportation Commission.
