Louisiana’s hurricane recovery chief is stepping down from the job.
Robin Keegan, who heads the Jindal administration’s Disaster Recovery Unit, submitted her resignation Friday. The agency’s spokeswoman confirmed the resignation Monday.
Keegan had held the job for a year and, before that, had been deputy director of the state’s hurricane recovery efforts.
Jindal’s top financial adviser, Commissioner of Administration Paul Rainwater, is searching for Keegan’s replacement. He says he’s already talking to several possible replacements to take charge of the agency when Keegan leaves.
It was unclear when Keegan’s last day would be.
