Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Picayune Church of God for W.T. Martin, 73, of Picayune, who passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Kitty Hale will officiate at the service.

A native of Tylertown, Miss., he was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lucious Martin and Stella Bachman Martin; two sisters, Christine Greer and Janice Martin; three brothers, Pete Martin, Lubbie Martin and T.C. Martin; one daughter, Patricia Ann Martin; and one son, Kenneth Ray Martin.

Survivors include: his children: Beverly Bennett of Picayune, Michael Martin of Las Vegas, Nev., Charles (Rhonda) Martin of Picayune; Billy Martin of Picayune, James Martin of Picayune, W.T. Martin Jr. of Picayune, Melissa Martin of Picayune, and Eric Martin of Picayune; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his brothers and sisters: Dellie Graham of Foxworth, Miss., Annette Bedwell of Picayune, Alfance Martin of Picayune; Louie Martin of Picayune, Ralph Martin of Picayune, and Lonnie Martin of Picayune.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
