Tropical Storm Richard could become hurricane

 TROPICAL WEATHER — Tropical Storm Richard was at 16.1N, 84.2W Saturday afternoon and moving west at 8 mph with winds of65 mph. Richard could become a hurricane on Sunday. A large low pressure system was about 250 miles west-northwest of the Cape Verde Islands Saturday afternoon. It has about a 10 percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone as it moves toward the northwest at 15-20 mph during the next 48 hours.
