Tropical Depression Richard expected to dissipate

TROPICAL WEATHER — The remnant of Tropical Depression Richard was at 20.4N, 93.1W Tuesday morning and moving north-northwest at 12 mph with winds of 30 mph. This motion is expected to continue for a day or two and the remount is likely to dissipate. A large low pressure system was about 1,150 miles west-northwest of the Cape Verde Islands Tuesday morning. It has about a 30 percent chance of becoming a tropical or subtropical cyclone as it moves toward the northwest at 5-10 mph during the next 48 hours.
