The Lifestyles Editor of the Picayune Item is looking for submitted art of any kind to be featured in a new column that will be published in each Wednesday’s Lifestyles section.

The column is open to school age children of any grade. Potential submissions should be in categories such as: Art, writing, sculpture, knit work, crochet work, mosaics, etc.

Please submit non-returnable written pieces or photos with description of work and background of person submitting it. Include why you became interested in your medium of choice and how long you have  been practicing it. Also, include the school attending and grade of person submitting.

Parent or guardian’s permission is required. Must be suitable to publish in paper.
