Philadelphia Police Chief Richard Sistrunk says an autopsy will help determine if the death of a woman found hanging in a tree was a homicide or suicide.

Sistrunk says the body was spotted Saturday morning by a motorist.

Sistrunk says authorities found the woman’s car left in a nearby shopping center. He says the car contained her wallet and identification, but police were not immediately releasing her name.

Sistrunk says the case remains under investigation.
