Tropical Depression 16 update

TROPICAL WEATHER —  Tropical Depression 16 was at 21.5N, 82.4W at 4 p.m. CDT Tuesday with winds of 35 mph moving north-northeast at 10 mph with some strengthening expected over  next day or two. Tropical Depression 16 is expected to become a tropical cyclone Tuesday night or Wednesday. A tropical wave over the central Atlantic about 1,300 miles east of the Windward Islands was producing disorganized showers at 1 p.m. Tuesday, moving westward to west-northwestward at 15-20 mph. There was a 10 percent chance the system will become a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
