Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the New Bethel Baptist Church for Daliah McCormick Jones, 81, of Tyler, Texas, formerly of McNeill, who passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 in Tyler.

Burial will be in the Sycamore Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Sylvester Stewart will officiate at the service.

A native of McNeill, she was a Homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Otis and Susie Lott; her husbands, John H. McCormick and Jack Jones; and one daughter, Joyce McCormick.

Survivors include: one son, Johnny McCormick of Tyler; two daughters, Carolyn Macon of Picayune and Debbie Hammond of Tyler; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Vera Stewart of McNeill and Sherry Warrick of Las Vegas, Nev.

Visitation was held Monday, September 20, 2010 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
