Police say a former employee of Love’s Travel Stop has been arrested on an embezzlement charge involving several thousand dollars missing from the Biloxi truck stop off Interstate 10.

Carolyn Louise Redding of Biloxi was arrested on Monday.

Authorities says they discovered that more than $4,400 is missing since August. Police say the investigation is continuing for the previous months.

Justice Court Judge Albert Found ordered Redding, 27, held with no bond.

It was not immediately known whether Redding has an attorney.
