Train derails near northern Miss. town of Byhalia
Approximately 10 box cars from a train derailed near the northern Mississippi town of Byhalia, roughly 18 miles southeast of Memphis, Tenn.
An emergency dispatcher in Byhalia tells The Associated Press no injuries were reported. The derailment was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.
A call to the Marshall County emergency office went unanswered after work hours.
Firefighters and hazardous materials crews responded to the scene, but no evacuations were ordered.
