Saltillo police say evidence in the shooting death of Anna McCoy will be presented to a grand jury that convenes Sept. 13.

Police Investigator Mark Haygood said that evidence needed wasn’t back from the Mississippi Crime Lab in time for the June term, so they had to wait.

The 20-year-old McCoy was found shot to death at a home in Saltillo on April 15. Haygood says no one has been arrested or charged in the incident.

An autopsy report ruled McCoy’s death a homicide.
