After starting the season with four straight wins, Picayune dropped three of four games over the past few days in slow pitch softball.

On Saturday, the Lady Tide played three games in the Pete Jackson Tournament, falling to Petal 6-3 and Enterprise-Clarke 9-3 before beating Greene County 11-2.

Against Petal, Millie Gill, Tiffany Devore and Tee Myers had two hits apiece, while in the loss to Enterprise Bethany Crawford and Shalyn Stevens had two hits each and Sara Dodd added a double.

In the win, Devore had a big game with a triple and a pair of doubles and she drove in five runs while Dodd, Brooke Ladner and Crawford all had three hits apiece and Jennifer Walker and Jessica Rancifer had two hits each.

On Thursday, the Lady Tide dropped their first game of the season as Vancleave won 6-5 despite Hillary Dickens, Myers, Ladner and Walker all getting two hits apiece.

Dodd pitched all four games, and stands 5-3 on the year as does the Lady Tide.
