Country music star Faith Hill brings her signature style and grace to New Orleans to honor the resilient spirit of Gulf Coast residents who are still rebuilding five years after Hurricane Katrina.
Hill headlines a free concert Tuesday evening to celebrate how far the Gulf Coast community has come since the August 2005 storm flooded and wrecked an area stretching from Louisiana to Alabama.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band opens the performance, which is being held at the Mahalia Jackson Theater.
