Mississippi officials said tarballs and oily debris were on a beach in Hancock County, the latest in the recent wave of oil to reach the coast.

The state Department of Environmental Quality also said oily mousse was found Monday on Cat Island.

Officials say skimmers and work crews were sent to cleanup the oil.
