Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for Ruth S. Long, 97, of Picayune, who passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Picayune.

Pastor Bradley Aumann will officiate at the service. A native of New Orleans, La., she was a Homemaker and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Henry R. Long; and her parents, John J. Surbeck and Grace L. Surbeck.

Survivors include: one daughter, Yvette Frank of Picayune; sister, Sylvia Williams of North Carolina; sister, Grace Gallo; grandson, Harald Frank; granddaughter, Rita Maree Holden; granddaughter, Suzanna Lynn Guidry; nine great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
