Linda Stockstill Norton, 76, a resident of Thomaston, Ga., passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Norton was born December 30, 1933 in Picayune.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Norton and son, Robert W. Dean.

Mrs. Norton is survived by: her son, Mike (Lynne) Bradshaw; daughter, Debbie S. (Mark) Gafford; brother, A.W. Stockstill; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Norton was held Monday, July 12, at Pine Crest Funeral Home in Mobile, Ala. Graveside services followed in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile.
