Individuals should decide Mojo use, not supervisors

Editor:

We live in a dry county and prohibition is still upon us. We can gamble at numourous casinos, but can’t buy a scratch off ticket at the quick stop. Now we have the Mojo situation.

Mojo is insense and contains no illegal substances. What individuals decide to do with it once they purchase it is their concern, not the concern of the Board Of Supervisors.

I would also like to comment on the remark made by Supervisor Hudson Holliday, “I think we ought to just outlaw it, and if they don’t like it, let them do something about it.”

As a county elective I think it is inappropriate to refer to citizens as THEM. Is the city going to stop selling computer cleaner in Picayune because people choose to huff it. Are you going to have sniff patrols checking to make sure we are using the correct insense in our homes? How much will that fine be? Wake up people !
