Elaine Tripp Bailey, 50, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel David Bailey; daughter of Edward L. Tripp, Sr. and Catherine McCloskey Tripp; mother of Rachel E. Tripp, Patrick J. Murphy and Andrew J. Murphy; sister of Edward Tripp, Jr. and David M. Tripp; and grandmother of Morghan Williams, Gavin Weigand, William Murphy, Olivia Murphy and Maysie Murphy. Elaine was an Algiers native and a resident of Carriere, Miss. for the past 3 years.

She was a Banquet Waitress for the Westin Hotel. She worked for Gourmet Butcher Block and Logan #2 Quick Stop in Carriere. She was also an active participant at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, school, and charities.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, La. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 11a.m. Interment will be in McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, La.
