I just wanted to respond to the article about the kids and adults arrested for the senior skip day party.

It makes me sick to think that not only did she provide those kids with alcohol but let them drive home while they were very intoxicated. It’s a miracle that no one was seriously injured or killed.

My son was killed by drunk driver, a teenager, and I wish to God that someone would have stopped him from getting into a car.

Our lives will never be the same. My son was 18 and had a daughter 10 mths. old when he died. She will never know her dad.

What do people think that if they have money they can buy the world? And they want to get mad at the police for trying to uphold the law? Money might be able to but lot of things but it doesn’t but back lives!!

What has happened to our values? Not only did she put her family in danger but other peoples families, too.

I’m just saying as a grieving mother of a child killed by a drunk driver, we as parents have got to take more responsibility.

Thank God that that day didn’t turn out to be a day of fatalities.
