Mississippi University for Women officials will dedicate trees in memory of four students who died in an Alabama fire in January.
Rose bud trees have been planted in honor of Jamelia Brown, of Grenada; Jaslynn McGee, of Corinth; and cousins Catherine Ann Muse and Alondan Turner, both of Cordova, Ala.
The four died in a hotel fire in Hoover, Ala.
The Thursday ceremony will take place in front of Kincannon Hall, where the students lived.
Officials say memorial markers will be placed at each tree.
