Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Nicholson for J.L. Frierson, 74, of Picayune who passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 in Picayune.
Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Galen Bond will officiate at the service.
A native of Picayune, he was a Mill Worker for Kaiser Aluminum and a member of First Baptist Church of Nicholson.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry Jack Frierson and Katie Alsobrooks Frierson; his wife, Charlene Frierson; two sisters, Myra Wheat and Joyce Carley; and two grandchildren, Tony Crawley and Joshua Frierson.
Survivors include: his children, Nathan Frierson of Poplarville, Rhonda (Scott) F. Lancaster of Dallas, Ga., Darwin (Patty) Frierson of Sevierville, Tenn., Tina Joles of Picayune, John (Stephanie) Craddock of Picayune and Curry (Tina) Davis of Picayune; 13 grandchildren, Chad Frierson, Aaron Lancaster, Sarah Lancaster, Cheri Joles, Ashley Craddock, Katlynn Craddock, Makinse Craddock, Joseph Davis, Curry Wayne Davis, Stephen Davis, Dustin Davis, Kaitlyn Hayes; and four great-grandchildren and his brother, Harlan (Ruth) Frierson of Nicholson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
