Jury selection is expected to begin Tuesday in the murder trial of a St. Martin man accused in the stabbing death of his wife in June 2008.
Thomas E. Carr was 67 years old when he was arrested in the death of 66-year-old Margie Faye Carr.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd tells The Sun Herald that Carr allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times with a kitchen knife.
Carr was initially charged with manslaughter, but a Jackson County grand jury later indicted him on a murder charge.
Byrd said the couple had been involved in an ongoing domestic dispute.
