Myrl V. Young, formerly of Picayune, passed away in St. Paul, Minnesota, on December 31, 2009. Born January 1, 1911 in Two Harbors, Minnesota, she was a retired waitress and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur H. Young of Picayune, and daughter Virginia Wright of Florida.

She is survived by two sons, Robert C. Wright of Augusta, Ga.; and John W. Young of Picayune; daughters Susan C. Young of St. Paul, Minn.; and Diane Young Blaisdell of Hampton, Ga.; eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service in St. Paul on January 8, 2010.
