This dump site found near Miss. 43 N. at the railroad tracks contains a number of used automobile parts along with several miscellaneous items. Dump sites such as this are a problem in this county, along with motorists simply throwing items out of their windows. The county and city have attempted numerous programs to cleanup the county, with some success. Since the county is host to a landfill, county residents are able to dump about two bags of trash a week for free.
