Wayne F. Broussard

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, La., for Wayne F. Broussard, 72, of Carriere who passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.

A native of Montegut, La., he was an active member of St. Mary Parish Knights of Columbus Grand Knight and a very active member of the South Mississippi Cursillo Movement serving as rector, team leader and kitchen boss.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Ann “Beverly” Broussard; parents, Raoul and Lucille Krift Broussard; grandson, Joshua Bourg; two brothers, Gerald Broussard and Keith Broussard; and one sister, Evelyn Pontif.

Survivors include: his wife, Eleanor Broussard; two sons, Wayne II and wife Robin Broussard and Henry Broussard; two daughters, Peggy and husband Keith Dominique and Jody Pertuit and fiancé Steve Dupuy; two brothers, David Broussard and Jerome Broussard; sister, Devota Pye; eight grandchildren: Sean Bourg, Conrad Pertuit, Wayne Broussard III, Winston Broussard, Mitchel Pertuit, Joseph Dominique, Joshua Tyler Lemoine and Heather Saul Broussard; two step-grandchildren: Jeffery Keyseear and Arriell Windham; two great-grandchildren: Destini Broussard and Jaedyn Broussard; step-daughter, Karen Windham and husband Rick; and step-son, Morris Keyseear.

Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2009 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma.
