NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Drew Brees and Darren Sharper are among five Saints players who’ve been selected for the Pro Bowl.

Linebacker Jonathan Vilma, and offensive linemen Jon Stinchcomb and Jahri Evans also were selected by a combination of votes from players, coaches and fans. The Saints haven’t had five players on a Pro Bowl roster since 1992.

The Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 31, the Sunday before the Super Bowl. Players on Super Bowl teams are not expected to participate.
