Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church for Rayford Earl Smith, 64, of Picayune, who passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the Leetown Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Rico Lee will officiate at the service.

A native of Hancock County, he was a member of Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: his father: Clifton Smith; and his wife: Jennifer Smith.

Survivors include: his mother, Myrtle Smith of Picayune; one daughter, Laura Robinson of Picayune; one son, Jarrett Smith of Picayune; one brother, Jeffrey (Kandy) Smith of Picayune; one sister, Margie (Mike) Savage of Moss Point, Miss.; two grandchildren, Triniti Smith and Lajaed Robinson; and one niece, Jessica Savage of Moss Point.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Lee’s Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church.
