Mary “Eva” Taylor, 87, of Picayune, Mississippi, formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her home.

Eva was born in New Orleans on September 27, 1922, to the late John Zimmer and Ella Schroeder Zimmer.

Beloved wife of Robert D. Taylor, Jr., sister of the late Ella Pinoges and Louise Hagelburger, mother of the late Robert and Johnny Taylor, survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Eva was formerly employed by the Chrysler Corporation and Battistella Seafood of New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, on Wednesday December 23, 2009. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the service at 12 and interment at Greenwood Cemeter
