The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has set a meeting Monday for Hurricane Katrina who are still living in or have just moved out of FEMA housing.
Officials want to tell residents about federal vouchers and subsidies, more than four years after the storm.
The meeting is the Housing Resource Center of Jackson County from 4 to 7 p.m.
Congress has approved another $80 million for the Housing Voucher Choice program in areas hit by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Housing authorities competed for those funds, which were awarded in August.
