Driving in Picayune is getting frustrating

Editor,

First let me say that the stick that is on the left side of that big wheel used to steer the car with is a turn indicator device. You push it down to turn left, you push it up to turn right (This is also not only the law but courtesy).

If your car does not have one of these or you do not know how to use it, stop driving…

Next, the signs that are on the side of the road with the big numbers on it is the speed limit. Again if you can’t read or see these large numbers stop driving…

I have never in 40 years gotten a ticket or been in an accident because I follow these laws. And I am so tired of getting tailgated on a single lane road going the speed limit. If you are in a hurry, you need to leave earlier…

No wonder car insurance is so high. Also let’s get to the eighteen wheelers that drop rocks from their trucks and bust up windshields. A friend of mine who used to drive a truck for years says if the rocks fall from the top of the truck it is called a loose load and no matter if they have a sign that says “not responsible for broken windshields”, they are responsible. Do not let them get away with it. It’s bad enough that they can’t follow the speed limit either especially in the the school zone in Nicholson. If I had kids in the car and was going the school zone speed limit during that time and had to stop suddenly, the truck that is on my bumper would hit us. The big trucks need to learn the speed limit like the rest of us, especially in Nicholson. So slow down…

We all need to take responsibility for our driving.
