Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Cathy E. Wells, 56, of Picayune, who passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Burial will be in the Unity Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Allen Hickman will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, she was a Registered Nurse and a member of Resurrection Life Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, L.D. and Jo Rea Spiers; her husband, Gerald Wells, Sr.,; and two brothers, Joseph Richard Spiers and Mark D. Spiers.

Survivors include: two daughters, Jodi Spiers and Kerri Shoemake both of Picayune; one son, Gerald Wells, Jr. of Picayune; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
