Jefferson County authorities say a Pine Bluff woman who skipped trial on charges of selling bogus stocks has been arrested in Mississippi.

Sheriff’s Capt. Bernard Adams says 46-year-old Rebecca Hall Turchi was arrested last week in Gulfport, Miss., and taken back to Pine Bluff on Sunday.

Turchi faces 17 felony counts of selling $150,000 worth of bogus stock to an elderly man. A warrant for her arrest was issued when she failed to appear for trial in May.
