Jackson police have tentatively identified the 24-year-old man who allegedly shot his girlfriend in a domestic dispute Thanksgiving Day and then killed himself.

Rodney Magee allegedly shot girlfriend Erica Rogers on Thursday at the Wingfield Apartments. Police spokesman Joseph Daughtry says Magee is then believed to have turned the gun on himself but police are continuing to investigate.

Daughtry says Rogers, who was shot, and her cousin, Gwendolyn Rogers, who jumped through a window when gunfire erupted in the apartment, are recovering from their injuries at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
