“Brother”: Burkley Otis Poland Jr., age 34 years, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009.

Survived by beloved spouse Kimberly Jean Lawson and son, Jacob Christopher Poland. Son of the late Ann and “Scotty” Kenneth Scott and Burkley Otis Poland Sr. Brother to Donna DiSalvo (Steve Buttrey), Sabrina Poland (Nikki Monroe), Lee Dunne (Kevin Dunne), Keith Pitre (Dolly Pitre), Kenneth Scott and Kristin Prosperie (Jeremy Prosperie). He is survived by nine nieces and nephews, one great-niece, as wells as many cousins and innumerable friends.

A native of Algiers, La., and a resident of Nicholson, Miss., for 3 years. “Brother” was a contractor, brown belt of Shotokan Karate and an avid fisherman. “Brother” will be forever loved and missed.
