Three suspects accused in a nationwide drug sting have been denied bond during a detention hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge James Sumner.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Erin Chalk argued Thursday the three are a danger to the community. Chalk says Nicholas L. Coleman, Kenneth Lofton and Sederick Ledbetter have previous records.

The three are among seven Mississippi men arrested in the case. More than 300 were arrested nationwide in a drug roundup the announced last week. They are charged with conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine from October 2008 until their indictment two weeks ago.
