An 18-year-old Hancock County man has been charged in the shooting death of man found Friday in the Clermont Harbor community.

Sheriff Steve Garber says bond was set Monday at $1 million for Jeremy Yarborough Rando after an appearance in justice court. Garber says Rando has been charged with murder in the death of 22-year-old Nicholas Patterson of Diamondhead.

Rando was being held at the Pearl River County jail.

Authorities say Patterson was shot multiple times and left in the back seat of a vehicle.
