Organizers at the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center are inviting the public to meeting about future plans for the museum.
The community meeting will be held Monday at 7 p.m., and led by Deborah L. Mack, a consultant and one of five scholars on the advisory committee for the planned National Museum of African American History and Culture.
The museum opened in 2008. It showcases the life and career of King, who lived in Indianola before he became a successful musician.
Carver Randle, a board member for the B.B. King Museum, said the meeting is chance for residents to share their ideas about what they’d like to see at the museum.
