Authorities were investigating what’s being described as a murder-suicide in Ruleville.

Police Chief Ben Grant says 17-year-old Bianca Keys was shot to death by her boyfriend, 23-year-old Lavoris Bowman. Grant says Bowman then turned the gun on himself.

The incident occurred Friday at the home of the girl’s grandmother in Ruleville. Grant says the two had argued because the teenager wanted to end the relationship. Autopsies have been ordered.
