Want to help save a horse and have a great evening dancing to the music of Whoopie and the Skeeter Bait Band after enjoying a three-course spaghetti dinner?

Then mark November 6 on your calendar and come to the Crystal Palace on MS Hwy 43 in Picayune for the fun and festivities being hosted by the Mississippi Equine Rescue and Adoption — MERA.

For $5, the entire family can enjoy the live music and bid on items in the auction. For another $7 — children under five are free and five to 12 cost $5 — participants can enjoy a three-course spaghetti dinner of salad, spaghetti, garlic bread and dessert, along with a soft drink.
